It was day 7 of the 12-day climb of the Inca Trail. We at this time were at 4,000 meters above sea level. We finally came to the most dangerous part of the trail the steep ladders of the Sun Gate. The trail is very narrow, you can either go left or right, but once you take the wrong path then the trail ends. So we all made our way to the top of the Sun Gate. We all were very scared that we might die. After 30 minutes of wandering around, we finally saw each other. It was a great moment, I mean who doesn`t like to see your friends after being lost. It made us really happy.
