An Expensive Metal Ice Clipper From DMM

Looks like DMM made the DMM Vault which is basically a aluminium ice clipper. Seems mildly interesting, but very expensive. However, it might be worth it if you have panic attacks of losing your ice rack because a plastic ice clipper broke or came loose. Thought this was interesting though. I mostly like the attachment mechanism.

$45 holy crap!!! Although I guess if you're *really* scared about losing 5-6 screws plus a tool (potentially $500-600 per side) the relative cost of this type of insurance might be worth it.

Yeah I am not quite sure why you would want this for stuff around New England; but I guess if things are really getting western I could see an argument that the added security might be worth it?

For $10 more you can get one with a locker on it! Which at first seemed a little absurd to me. Very weird.

I actually kind of hope people make something similar to this at a lower price point (maybe $20?), because I could see an argument that a more robust ice clipper has its uses, but not at $45 a pop.
