Climbing Podcasts

General Discussion Forum - Spray beta, post trip reports, etc.

I've been trying out some new podcasts lately, and came across a recent two-hour Honnold interview on something called the Rich Roll Podcast.
http://www.richroll.com/podcast/alex-honnold-351/ Rich seems to be some kind of vegan ultra-runner, but he doesn't get too preachy about it (in my opinion).

I thought it was a good interview that covered some stuff I hadn't heard Honnold talk about before, or in as much depth. (Including the Antartica trip, El-Cap free solo and whatnot). There is about four-ish minutes of advertising near the beginning you ought to skip.

Anybody else have suggestions for good climbing or adventure stuff to listen to on car rides or the commute? Especially on perhaps podcasts that aren't usually climbing focused.

I have several podcasts I've been checking out lately, including:

Adventure Sports Podcast
Alpinist
MtnMeister
Slide: The Avalanche Podcast
The Avalanche Hour Podcast
The Dirtbag Diaries
The Enormocast
The Firn Line
The Sharp End
Utah Avalanche Center Podcast

Can't say I recommend any of them outright, but several episodes thus far from each have been informative and entertaining.

The Enormocast is a personal favorite (and we are in store for a bunch of New England podcasts!). His interview with Henry Barber was awesome: https://enormocast.com/

Dirtbag Diaries is not climbing specific but pretty great: http://dirtbagdiaries.com/

I used to listen to the Training Beta podcast, but stopped at some point. I think it is a pretty good podcast, but a little over focused on training and not quite focused enough on climbing/the human aspect of the interviews. https://www.trainingbeta.com/trainingbeta-podcast/
