I am excited for this trip! Just need to lock a partner down, lots of potential little commitment.
Here is a little picture from SummitPost of the Sella Towers. One of the things I would love to do.
Did the regular route on the 3rd Sella Tower a long time (30 years) ago. Pretty casual although the last pitch is the crux and you can get stacked up behind slow/stuck parties. It was nice as the approach - like many in the Dollies - is casual. You drive to a hut above treeline, stroll across a meadow, and start climbing. On the return the hut (with vino) is right next to the car - how convenient.
We spent most of our time at the Tre Cima and in the Bregalia and did some fairly big things there (30 years ago I could).
Other trips I spent time in Cham and did some of the easier classics. No better place to be when the weather is GOOD. So the most basic beta I have - have some bad weather contingency plans.
