The Boston Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club is sponsoring a video & slideshow presentation from Apa Sherpa - an amazing mountaineer who has summitted Mount Everest a record 21 times! He will be speaking about his mountaineering exploits at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Rt 9 in Natick (opposite the Natick Mall) on Sunday 8 February from 3.30 - 5.00 pm.

Tickets, priced at $12 for AMC members/students and $15 for the general public, are available at the following link where you can also read about Apa's incredible story - from his humble beginnings as a lowly porter to his worldwide recognition as one of the greatest mountaineers who ever lived. Tickets will also be available at the door on the day.
