Skiers Falling in Tuckermans

A group of us witnessed a pretty nasty fall while up in Tuckermans for an AIARE I course. David Lottmann, the course instructor, got it on video and put together a pretty good write up on it. There are some neat tips about caltopo features I didn't know about for finding when slopes will be in the sun and I had never heard of PeakFinder until he showed it to us.

I was pretty amazed they both walked away from that. The woman was definitely in a little bit of shock but nothing looked broken. Looks like they got their 15 minutes of fame too because all the local news stations have articles up with that video.
